AWAKERI ACTIVITIES SUCCESSFUL STOCK DRIIVE AIDS FUNDS . ' . Recently a stock drive was held in the Awakeri Patriotic Commit-; tee's area, there being a generous response from the farmers of the district. Gifts ranged from cattle and hordes down to poultry, most of which were collected by the drovers- while- on their usual rounds; No fees c.f any "kind were charged by the. auctioneering firms or tjieir drovers.
