THE BEACON' FUND FURTHER ACKNO WLEDG MENTS ; The fund in aid of the present patriotic appeal—the Borough's official list, has passedi the £500 mark. And it is not only just over the mark—it is well onj its way towards the sixth hundred. Of the area's allocation of £3750 the Borough is expected to raise £1125—the minimum., | This can only be done by the ! generosity of the residents of the district and it is agsuiv pointed out that subscriptions may be left at the BEACON Office or the Borough Office and will be acknowledged in these columns.
