WHAKATANE BREEDERS' CLUB PRICE'S TO 5)3 GUINEAS The South Bay of Plenty Jersey Club's Annual Bull Sale was held in the A. and P. Showgrounds, Whakatane, on Friday last. There was a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the Bay of Plenty and competition was keen throughout the sale. " Local breeders are to-be congratulated upon the type and quality of the large number of bulls which were well up to the standard submitted at any major fixture this season. Two year old bulls were in demand and Lot 2 in the catalogue made the top price at 93 guineas. This two year old, offered by Mr J. S. Rae* is a double grandson of Brampton Dreaming Sam (Imp) C.8.8. and was purchased to head Mr A. C. Wright's stud, Te Puke. The average for flic bulls sold was 30 guineas.
