Sir, —This weary world of ours is spending millions of pounds every day on the destruction -of "life*... May I, in GodAs name, ask you for "a few crumbs from the table" to show your sympathy to the poor suffer-> ing lepers,, on Makogai Island, When the little steamer arrives from Le-* vuka with the New Zealand gifts, may your little present be on board to cheer the hundreds of lepers, anxiously Avatching on the long white beach. Donations of money will be most useful, and will enable- us to buy what is in short supply. We are grateful to the. Postmaster-Gen-eral for having reduced charges to half-rates on all addressed to me for the will be acknowledged by me personally. Should you lose my address, please note that "Leper Man,'" Ghristchureh, will find me. The approximate closing date for goods is the 10th November but cash gifts will be gratefully received at any later date.
