Mrs R. Smith, of Napier, is at present staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs R. Fleming, Waimana. Mrs F. Savage, Nukuhou North, has returned, from a holiday spent in Auckland. Mr Ladd, of Nelson, has been appointed headmaster of the Waingarara School. - i Mr N. C. Harris, of .Ohope Beach, is leaving Whakatane to-day for Wellington on business. Mr A, J. Canning, King Sfreet, is ,at present in Rotorua convalscing from his recent, illness. Mrs R. A, Tims-, of Ohope, "is. spending a holiday In Auckland as the guest of Mrs M. P. Tucker, of Mt. EdenMr Charles Clark, Chief Postmaster, Hamilton, lias been the guest of Mr and Mrs W. M. Clark, at Ohope Beach, He was accompanied by Mr Godfrey Thorpea lso of Hamilton. The visitors expressed themselves as charmed with Ohope and the general surrounding setting of pohutukawa clad' hills.
