STOCK SALE
PRICES AT OPOTIKI Messrs Dalgcty and Co. Ltd. report having held their fortnightly pig sale, when a small yarding came forward. Very few baconers were yarded and the balance of the yarding principally comprised stores and slips. Baconers sold at fully schedule rates, whilst all classes of stores sold .under keen competition at slightly advanced rates. Realisations: — Baconers £3 10s to £3 17s; choppers, heavy, £3 10s to £4 10s; porkers £2 10s to £2 13s: stores £2 to £2 10s; slips £1 15s to £2; small; slips £1 to 255; weaners £1 to 255.
