TWO CHARGES HEARD CONVICTIONS RECORDED n Hopa Hauwai, labourer, pleaded , t guilty to a charge of being found drunk in a public place when he appeared before Messrs W. Sullivan j. and C. G. Sergeant 3 Farrell outlined the circumstances ' of the case, adiding that accused . was practically, an invalid and would be unable to meet a heavy fine. Drink Was Hutnels trouble, J said the Sergeant, and he had the ■reputation of being a, good worker when sober.
