DYING ON ITS FEET
A small group of enthusiasts are striving manfully to cultivate an interest in the: W-E.A. in this town. Unfortunately the overwhelming demands of the numerous war-endeav-ours ma,ke it almost impossible to create a sustained interest in the movement and the results of repeated appeals are most disappointing. The Workers Educational Association is a movement dedicated to the intellectual up v - , ment of the rank and file, and in spite of the war should not be allowed to die out. All interested are invited to attend further meetings, enquiries regarding which will be answered at the BEACON.
