MISS K. SMITH | Residents will regret the passing of Miss K. Smith 'for many years in business in Whakatane as a dress maker:- Miss Smith who occupied originally a shop in the Regent Theatre building was well known in toAvn and district. She was a popular member of the Mokorua Golf Club and was noted for "her- pleasant, sunny nature. Miss Smith was taken ill two months ago and removed ti> Wellington where she died in hospital -last Saturday.
