Messrs Dalgety ami Co., Ltd., report having held their pig! sale at the Opotiki saleyards on- August sth-' when a large yarding of all classes of pigs came forward, stores pre^ 1 dominating. Baconers sold, at fully late rates, a line on account of Mr A, G. Pile realising £4 Is. We give belo\v realisations:— Heavy baconers £3 15s to. £4 Is; lighter £3 lis to £3 15sJ; heavy porkers £2 lis to £2 18s; others £2 to £2L 6s; large stores £1 14s to £2; smaller sorts £1 9s to £1 14s; slips to £1 ss.
