The majority .wore hard-up costumes and the judges had much difficulty In'Uleciding the prize winners. Mrs . vManning was the winning lady and ;MrliFord Mitchcll the gentleman. A The dance music was. contributed iiy -'Mrs King (piano), Mr King ph'bne), and Mr M. Burke (drums).. Extras were given by Miss M. Ward- !?.?/ Tiiltl Mr Pnikc, Mr H. Wai-diaF most capably acted-as M.G. Several oltl-ti hie dances were much enjoyed, Mr A'. Eagle flaying accordion music for them. . During the evening Miss ioyc6 Hodgson gave a splendid exhibition' of the Sword Dance, and Mrs T.; aud Mr M.,.. Burke sang most* delightfully, all items being much enjoyed. '' After a "hard-up" supper, Mr N. Macdonald on behalf of the Patriot tic and Young People's Committees, ;thanked all for -thp wonderful, support all had given, £13 10s being vthe amount netted . . , - : A of home-made sweets donated by Mrs A.. Eagle, for competition, was won by Mrs H. Bell; and a work box donated by Mrs Nj Matidonakl, was won by Mrs Hodgson.
