CARS HAVE THEIR USES

In the last war a U-boat was sunk by a lorry. It happened when a ship carrying lorries to Russia was stopped by a U-boat and blow r n up. The torpedo struck the ammunition which the ship was also carrying. The explosion blew the lorries into the air and one of them landed on the U-boat's conning tower* smashing it and sinking her. Now in this war cars are being used as a means of self-defence. The Swedish motorists are parking their cars on the aerodrome landing grounds and thus making it impossible for any hostile aircraft to land. When friendly planes want to land or take off the cars are driven to the edges of the fields.
