- . SOLDIERS' FAREWELL FUNI> Organised bj* Mrs A. J. Macrae, Oponae, a "Soldiers' Farewell Fund" . Committee has been formed in the Waioeka Valley. Mrs iNlacrae has associated witli her in her work, Messrs JV Red£4 path, Wairata; A. Trafford, Upper; Waioeka; J. Anderson and A. IMacrae, Oponae; all of whom well known for their activities ta connection with anything for.,tihc advancement of the district. Having many yearsf of war work to her credit, and with the settlers behind her as u large working committee, Mrs Macra s's , project will undoubtedly prove a success. Already plans to augment the fund are under consideralion.
