Mr and Mrs Harttey Hall of Te Rore, Te Awamutu, are visiting Ohope Beach. Mr V. J. Alexander of the Railrway Staff at Taneatua, delegate from the South Auckland and Bay! of Plenty districts of the N.Z. Railways Officers Institute, Mt to-day to attend the Annual Conference which is being held in Wellington. Mr Ron Brooks for several years a Avell known local "chemist* has left Whakatane for Dargaville. Mr Brooks takes with, him the best wishes of his many friends, in this town who join in wishing both he and his wife prosperity and happiness in Northern Wairoa.
