COMMENDATION FOR MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES "1 would/ like to say how proud we are of the men Ave have in charge of municipal affairs," said Mr W. G. Howat at the combined Bands? so-t cial on Monday night. "We are lucky to have a man like Mr Barry 'at the head of things, and he deserves all the credit the community can" give him.'* In replying, Mr Barry paid a tri-rf bute to the councillors and the Town Clerk, Mr D. V. Saunders. "We have a great team of councillors," he said "and a first class Clerk who does all the hard work."
