SHOP AT EDGECUMBE The shop on the ground floor of the Edgecumbe Private Hall has been kindly lent! to the Patriotic Committee by Mrs Simpson for use on Wednesdays and Saturdays and alternate Mondays. One of the most successful days was Wednesday, July 10, when the shop was in charge of Mrs R. E. Blair and Mrs W. Snelling. Cakes and produce of all kinds were on sale and a steady stream of gifts and buyers brought in the sum of £12 10s 3d for. thje day's business, which is a record to date. Mrs Blair and Mrs Shelling are grateful to many friends who helped to make the day so profitable.
