LATEST CONTRIBUTIONS FROM WAIMANA
£47 FOR RADIO APPEAL (Own Correspondent) AVaimana and Nukuhou North have not lagged behind other districts in responding to the various appeals for funds. A rooster donated by Mr F. J. Savage realised £5 2s Gd when auctioned at the recent cattle sale and the auctioneering of a Jersey bull at Mr J. Rust's sale brought in £15 ;is. A further donation was that from the Waimami Presbyterian Church, £2 13s. A total of £47 18s Gd was subscribed to the recent radio appeal on behalf of the Sick, Wounded and Distress Fund.
