CZECHS HELP ALLIES
. Crushed under the Teuton heel for the second time since the Thirty Years War, the Czech nation - is again fighting for its independence. In the last war, Czech troops flocked to the Allies' colours and secret organisations planned for the Great Day—and freedom. History is repeating itself. Again under the German heel, Czechs have joined the Allies in the fight for their independence. As in 191-1. one of the war aims of the Allies is the restoration of Czechoslovakian independence. From all over the - world, Czechs are streaming into France, all with the one burning ambition—to enlist in the Czech legions which are being formed in France within the structure of the French Army. "Somewhere in France," regiment after regiment of Czech soldiers is being trained to French military standards —and there are no higher standards in the world. And every one of these new Czech soldiers is completely confident that history will again repeat itself—that they, as their fathers before them, will ultimately enter their country as victors, bringing the gift of permanent national freedom.
