BURGLARS ARRESTED

YOUNG MEN BEFORE COURT SMART POLICE WORK As a result of extensive enquiries by the police, two young men were arrested by Sergeant Isbister in con nection with the burglary of the premises of Geo. Dawson Ltd., in Church Street, on Sunday night, June 23rd. The sequel to the arrest was the appearance before Messrs J. D. Clark and C. Pipe* Justices of the Peace, of Henry Dudson, aged 19 and Peter Ropitini aged, 19, who were charged with breaking, entering and theft. Sergeant J. Isbister conducted pro ceedings for the police and after evidence had been given by Mr G. A. Dawson, Ladies' and Gents' Outfitter and by the Sergeant, both accused, who pleaded guilty, were committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence.
