ARRIVAL IN ENGLAND
NEW ZEALAND'S SECOND ECHELON
The Second Echelon of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force has arrived in England, together with units of the Australian Forces. This was first made known in a broadcast this morning by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, the Hon. Peter Fraser. The early morning broadcast from Daventry included a description of the arrival of the troops at an English port and not the least part of this description was the Maori Battalion's singing of their "March to Victory." This was particularly effective.
