PIPE BAND DISPLAY

In spite of the abnormally large number of side shows the entire procession was accommodated in the area immediately in front of the Show building and after the judging the crowd was entertained to a Drum Major's marching display given by the Pipe Band. The pipers carried out this intricate exhibition with admirable precision and Pipe Major Laurie Johnson, who was responsible for the training is to be congratulated. Bright selections were also provided by the Citizens' Band, which likewise earned the applause of the assemblage. CORRECTION NEEDLEWORK SECTION Coloured Dressing Table Set: Mrs M. C. Todman 1 and 3, Miss Gwen Baker 2.
