JEWS NOT MENTIONED A new version of the Testament, which has been published in Germany.. is entitled the "German Chris tian Testament.'" All mention of Jews has been expurgated. The preface states that the autlW ors throw light on "the veritable Christ." An allusion to Bethlehem has been removed, and Christ's birth place is declared to be Galilee.i It is stated that many races lived there; consequently, Christ could have been a pure Aryan. All happenings in the Jerusalem temple have been deleted. The words "Hosannah to the Son of David," which greeted Christ's entrance to Jerusalem, have been omitted.
