; i Mr G. A. Turnbull. of Whakatane, has been selected to train fori commissioned rank. Mrs G. Hewitt, of Waimana, ha? been visiting Auckland and attended the wedding of her eldest son, Mr C. Nielson, who was married recently. Mr J. Cutler and Mr D. O. Stewart, of Whakatane, are among those selected to attend the Advanced Training School, Trentham, as prospective commissioned officers.
