WHAKATANE LADIES' GOLF

Owing to unfavourable weather play was postponed last Wednesday. Those wishing to do so may play their first Allan trophy round before Wednesday. Otherwise they will play next Wednesday, May 29, and the draw remains the same as for last weelt. Saturday (June Ist) players requiring partners are asked to ring the secretary. Winners of the Bogey round were: A, Mrs Buddie; B. Mrs C. Armstrong" on a recount from Mrs Otley; c, Miss V. Carter. The Ladies One-day Tournament will be held as usual on the King's Birthday, June 3rd. Proceeds are irv aid of the Red Cross Funds. The three divisions are: A, up to and including A team; B, 19 to 36; C r non-handicap players. A and B players will play one morning medal and an afternoon Bogey and G players tAvo Medal rounds.
