"GOODBYE, MR. CHIPS"

A GREAT HUMAN' PICTURE All who have been privileged to see the screening of the picture "Good-bye Mr Chips" now showing at the Regent, have expressed their unreserved admiration for the portrayal of something which rises high above mere acting. "Good-bye Mr Chips" is human. It lives, grips and holds the attention of audiencss wherever it has been shown. It is an education, because it is a bit of real life, and its pathos and imagination mean something to all who see it, leaving them better and bigger, men and women. In connection with the above it is not our practise to recommend a picture to the general public in any other form than the usual publicity write-ups. But in this case we do so without reserve, and offer an honest and spontaneous tribute to a classic production.
