PUBLIC FUNCTION

PRESENTATION OF AMBULANCE SUGGESTION MADE N —— ——. Mr J. W. Sumner informed the Hospital Board at yesterday's meeting that the ambulance had arrived in Whakatane. He had been approached by Mr Barry and Mr Canning in reference to the presentation, to the Board. Both had thought it appropriate, because the public had contributed, that the vehicle be handed over at a public function.: It was suggested that the Board or several appointed members of the Board be in attendance. The matter was left to the Chairman.
