Mr Charles Reid, of Ngahinepouri, who visited friends in Whakatane, left on Monday for Gisborne. Mr Garth Morgan, of the Head Office, Social Security Department, Wellington, has taken up hi 3 duties at the Whakatane Branch. Mr Worsley, of Auckland, who has been in charge of the Social Security Department at Whakatane since Mr Searing enlisted, will relinquish control on Friday. His successor. Mr J. W. Simpson, of palmerston North, has arrived.
