MANURE AND LIME FOR, FARMERS PROPERTIES NOT NEAR RAIL It was moved at the quarterly meeting of the Northern Thames Sub-Provincial Executive of Farmers' Union, that in view of the fact that much of the hill country is not serviced by the railways, the ment lie asked to give settlers the same subsidy on cartage of manures and lime as to those nearer the railway. The same branch also asked that the Government see that a reasonable amount of fencing wire was made available to farmers.
