BOYS INJURED

TWO ACCIDENTS BOTH SUFFER BROKEN ARMS Two boys, Bruce Bell, aged 11, of Waimana, and "Ronald McKcnzie, aged 8, son of Mr and Mrs S. McKenzie, of Domain Road, were injured last week and are at present occupying beds side by side at the Whakatane Hospital. Both suffered a fracture of the left arm. It is understood that Bruce Beli was practising a high jump in preparation for a sports meeting,' when lie slipped or lost his balance, and fell heavily. It is not clear how Ronald McKenzie sustained his injury except that the accident occurred when playing with companions. Both are progressing satisfactorily.
