MAORIS WHO STOLE BEER INCIDENT ON SATURDAY NIGHT Arrested by Sergeant M. Farrell at 9.13 on Saturday night, Pere Houa Meihana, labourer, of Poroporo, and Ivarauria Kingi, labourer, of Paroa, who were arrested by Sergeant M. Farrell at 9.5 on Saturday night together with Peter Moeka, who was arrested at Poroporo on Sunday by Sergeant M. Farrell and Constable F. Fuller, appeared before Mr R. W. Schoficld, J.P.„ in the Police Court on Monday morning charged with stealing seven quart bottles of beer, valued at 1/6 each and the property of Alfred Hayter. Accused were remanded until today. /
