GOOD CARDS RETURNED The play in Saturday's Medal Handicap resulted in a win for A. Newman with a score of 87—18—69 nett. Other good cards were A. Clarke 88—18—70 nett, R. E. Horrocks 76—5—71 nett. A. Newman's play has earned him a reduction of one in handicap. On Saturday 20th inst play will consist of a One-club Medal Handicap match for which an entrance fee of 2/- Avill be charged. The whole of the proceeds will be donated to the National Patriotic Fund in accordance Avith the New Zealand Golf Council's plan. A separate trophy AA'ill be donate ed for the eA'ent.
