ELECTORATE COMMITTEE ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Tauranga Electorate Committee of thje National Party was held on Monday. There was a good attendance of mem bers y and Mr H. J. Gill presided. Mr F. W. Doidge, member for the district, and Messrs Braithwaite and Roskridge from Hamilton were also present. Mr R. Braithwaite emphasised the carrying out of Divisional recommendations and explained the working of the Division, etc. After an interval for refreshments handed round by the ladies, Mr F. W. Doidge gave some details of the recent caucus in Wellington, interesting sidelights on the latest developments of the Left Wing <jf the Labour Party, and also statements by prominent Labour officials that the Labour Congress controlled the legislation brought down by the Government. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Chairman. Mr H. J. Gill (re-elected); Vice-Chair-man, Mr J. K. B. Lusk; Secretary,Rev D. Rankin (re-elected); Auditor, Mr W. T. H.odgkins; Executive, the Tauranga Branch Committee, with other members from the outside branches; Delegates to Division the Chairman, Mr J. AuVl ancl a representative from Matamata.i
