SCHOOL ACCOMMODATION
Sir, —I was pleased to see the let-' ter in your Monday's issue dealing with this subject and I was also glad to see that the school committee is again impressing upon the Education Board the necessity for immediate and effective action. The position, truly, does seem to be hopeless, and there is no doubt that something will have to be done about it. I see that at Ellerslie the Borough Council has taken the matter in hand and passed a resolution expressing concern and calling for improvements. This resolution is to be sent to the Minister of Education. Perhaps because the representations come from a Borough Council they may possibly receive some consideration. The position at Ellerslie seems not to be as severe as that at Whalcatane and it might be a good idea if the Borough Council here were to discuss the matter at the next meeting and forward a resolution to the Minister.„ Yours etc., A.L.C. !
