PREPARING FOR ELECTIONS BOARD'S CIRCULAR A. call to the householders in each school district to send in nominations for school committees to the Chairman in each district by Wednesday, April 10, is made by the Auckland Education Board in a circular to the various committees. The biennial meetings for electing the new committees will be held at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17. The regulations prescribe that the committees shall consist of five mem bers when the average school attendance is under 100, seven when it is over 100, and nine when it exceeds 200. Both husband and wife have power to vote or to be elected if either is qualified as a householder, Avliile the parent or guardian of any child attending school in the area has the same rights, wherever resident.
