HARBOUR BOARD
MEETING IN COMMITTEE QUORUM NOT PRESENT The Whakatane Harbour Board was unable to hold its usual bi? monthly meeting on Friday owinsi to the absence of live members and the Chairman and three members present considered business in committee. Decisions made in committee will be confirmed at the next meeting of the Board. The Board was scheduled to meet at 10.30 a.m., but at 10.55 a.m., when it was made known that Mr W. R. Boon could not attend, it was decided to go into committee. Leave of absencc had been granted to Messrs C, T. Smith, R. Ruddick, R. Brown and C. H. Tickner, and those present were Messrs J. W. Sumner, Chairman, Cr. A. Brabant, J. Mitchell and A. F. McGougan,
