ANNUAL MEETING
OPOURIAO BOBBY CALF POOL PAYOUT FOR SEASON The annual meeting of tlie Opouriao Bobby Calf Pool -was held in the Bowling Pavilion at Tancatua on tlie 2(ith instant. Mr G. Yeoman presided over an attendance of some (58 suppliers. The Chairman, read the annual report of the year's activity and stated that the output for the year amounting to 3491 calves had been very satisfactorily handled by the New Zealand Co-op. Pig Marketing Association. Mr Hasting, Organiser of the Pig Marketing Association was present at the meeting and gave some very interesting information on his Department's activities and explained in detail the balance sheet as presented . The payout to the suppliers over the season averaged 7/3.4 d. A vote of thanks was moved to the outgoing committee by Mr A. MciGougan. Nominations being called for,, for the committee for the ensuing year resulted in the election of the following:— Messrs B. F. Grace, A. Prince, A. McGougan, T. Davics, L. Reid. L. H. Brown. At a subsequent meeting of the new committee, Mr L. H. Brown was elected Chairman and Mr B. F.i Grace was re-clected Secretary.
