! , MONTHLY REPORT I | ENGINEER-MANAGER'S STATEMENT 1 The following is the report submitted by the Engineer-Manager* Mr J. D. Dicker, at the meeting of the Bay of Plenty Power Board: Line Erection: 8.5 route chains of 400 volt on 11,000 volt lines. One transformer structure erected complete with o K.V,A. transformer. Consumers' Scrvice Lines: Eleven new servicc lines erected totalling 38.6 route chains of line. One service line altered, and three of 13 route chains removed. Line Maintenance: During the above month a considerable amount of maintenance work has been carried out, portion of which bei,ng necessary as a result of the January storm. Other items include tree cutting, repairs to apparatus causing radio interference, and overhaul and repairs over a section of the board's telephone system For the month there were four interruptions on various sections of the board's system: One due to the failure of 11,000 volt pin insulator. One due to the failure of 11,000 volt fuse switch insulator. One due to the failure of volt branch line fuse. One due to lightning. Sixteen consumers' service lines overhauled and repaired, also all consumers' service lines in T'e T'eko township. One defective H.W. pole replaced. P.W.D. Supply: For the above month there were two shut-downs i totalling eight minutes.
