Dear Sir
Letters to the Editor must be clearly written on one side of the > paper only. Where a nom-de-plume is used the name of the writer must be enclosed for reference purposes only. PATRIOTIC FUNDS Sir.. —Just now appeals for funds seem to be coming from every direction—Red Cross, Salvation Army, Welfare, St. John's Ambulance Baby Sliow—and no doubt others will soon follow and all expect to get a bit. Please let me appeal tlo those who give, and those about to give,, to be sure that their donations go to the right quarter, that is help "win the war." Every donation, ever so small, will be needed and we* must give all we can. I would like to suggest that a joublic meeting* be called to deci'de the right channel. The overlapping of different; societies should be avoided. I want to help and will. Yours eta, ALL I KNOW.
