GARDEN PARTY

TANEATUA PLUNKET SOCIETY (Own Correspondent). A very successful Garden Party was held at the residence of Mrs Churcher last Friday afternoon in aid of the Taneatua Plunkct Society. Games were indulged in and several competitions held. A large number of members and those interested were present and £15 was collected for the fund. The following were in charge of the various games:— Mrs V. Alexander, Clock Golf: Won by Miss Old. Mrs Marsden, Ladder Croquet: Won by Mrs Kennedy. Mrs Bennett, Bell Croquet: Won by Mrs Peebles. Mrs Grace, Crazy Croquet: Won by Mrs Old. Mrs E. Hill presided at the stall and the afternoon tea was in the care of Mesdames Lawn, Churcher, and Prince. ~ Competitions were won by Misses Old and Peebles.
