CHILDREN'S SUCCESS
FIRST AID EXAMINATIONS SIXTEEN PASSES AT PAROA Advice has been received from the Auckland Headquarters of the St. John Ambulance that sixteen passes were gained in the first-aid examination conducted at the Paroa Native School in December. Ihe successful candidates were:— Jonn Bluett, Uru Harawira, Betty Hatcher, Winnie Hakopa, Vera Nepata, Marion Raymond, Olive Souter, Millie Tawa, Betty Wharewera, Marion Wharewera, William Hira, Andrew Kingi* Claud Keepa, Stewart Riini, Maurice Steer, Denis Simjison.
