INQUEST OPENED

WOMAN'S DEATH The inquest into the death of Harriet Rosina Butwell, aged 39, who died at Matata on March sth, was opened before the coroner, Mr G. A. Brabant, J.P., on Wednesday morning. Albert Garnet Butwell, husband of deceased, gave evidence that his wife had been ill for some time. On Monday, March 4th, he had found her lying on the bed in some pain and had called Dr Appleby, who treated her. During the night her condition became worse and Dr Appleby w r as again summoned next morning. The doctor was present when death occurred.
