OHOPE'S CREDIT FUNDS

SUM OF £58 INVOLVED

The Whakatane County Council at its meeting on Tuesday received a letter from the Ohope Progress and Ratepayers League which stated that at a meeting of ratepayers called early this year it was unanimously decided to represent to the Council that the sum to the Ohope Beach's credit, approximately £58, be expended in improving the roadserving the northern end, and in the event of there being more than sufficient funds for this purpose, in improving the stream crossing immediately in front of the Captain's Cabin, The Clerk reported that £58 7s Id, the amount standing to the credit of the Beach, could be expended on the works in question. It Avas moved and seconded that the application be granted.
