RED CROSS DANCE
LOCAL SOCIETY'S DECISION The Whakatane Red Cross Society decided last Wednesday evening to promote % dance, if possible on the evening of the citizen's fareWell, to serve the dual purpose of raising funds and as a social event which the men on leave could attend as guests. Detailed arrangements were completed and a strong working committee elected for the purpose of decorating the hall, staffing the dance -and attending to the catering.
