ACCIDENT VICTIMS

CONDITION SATISFACTORY Reports from the Hospital show that Mr Jack Hartley, who suffered serious injuries to one leg as the result of an accident at the AVhakatane River Bridge on February 3rd, is progressing favourably. Mrs C. Hunia, who was injured in an accident on the same day, has been discharged, and has returned to her home. The condition of Joe Hudson, a Maori boy who fell from a cart on February 3rd, is reported to be satisfactory, and another Maori lad, Tommy Perenara, victim of an accident at Matata on the same date, Ckvhen he was badly scalded, is also making satisfactory progress.
