AN IMPORTANT ENQUIRY
Tomorrow will see the opening of the commission of enquiry into the affairs of the Whakatane Paper Mills in an endeavour to arrive at a satisfactory basis for the charge price of the manufactured article which is now being placed on the New Zealand market. The event is an important one from the local view point, but it has greater and wider interests and will be watdhed by all Dominion manufacturers from an angle that is likely to have a very strong bearing upon operations for the future.
