ANNUAL, .METHODIST EFFFORT
The beautiful grounds around the. homestead of the Misses A. and F. Ramson, King Street,, lent themselves admirably to the Annua® Methodist Garden Party, which took place yesterday afternoon and drew the usual good attendance of town and district ladies. A unique feature of which Whakatane may well be proud is the manner in which helpers of all denominations combine in . assisting towards the success of the functions of tlieir respective Churches. This was again demonstrated at yestergathering, where the visitors indulged in friendly games and competitions. The ladies responsible for the vari ous sections were as under: Produce Stall, Mesdames Canning and Prints Admission Table, Mrs Lucas. Clock Golf, Mrs K. Stewart. Target Cro~ quet< Mrs J. Hellyar. Typo. Tahle k Mrs Berg. Ladder Croquet,.Mrs J.Jones. Bell Croquet* Mi's F. Corner., Afternoon Tnea, Mesdfimes Ablistoa. Haul tain, Hanham and S. Milter *
