CIRCUIT POINTS PRIZE
BAY OF PLENTY SHOWS
CONDITIONS GOVERNING
AWARDS
The Bay of Plenty Circuit of Shows, comprising Katikati, lauranga, Te Puke, Whakatane and Opotiki. have decided to contribute two guineas each for the purpose of a,warding two Points Prizes to the value of five guineas eacii—one for the most points in Dairy Cattle Classes and the other for most points in Light Horse and Jumping Events (excluding competitions). The following conditions will gov- ; ern the awards: —■ 1. Exhibitors must exhibit at two or more of the Circuit Shows to be eligible. 2. The winner to have the option of receiving cash or trophy of the same value. The presentation to be made by the Association nominated by the winner. 3. In the event of a tie, the exhibitor gaining points at the most Shows in the Circuit to have preference. 4. Points at each Show awarded as folJows: 6 for Ist, 4 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd, 1 for Highly Commended, 2 for Champion, and 1 for Reserve Champion. In event of no competition only half points awarded. f>. In the event of a protest being lodged each Association to appoint a delegate to investigate, whose decision shall be final. It should be mentioned that the Katikati Show is the first in the Bay of Plenty circuit and consequently the count for circuit prizes will . commence with successes won at that exhibition, which is to be held to-morrow.
