CLANSMAN DELAYED
BAR UNWORKABLE NECESSARY TO LIGHTEN CARGO The Northern Steamship Company's motor vessel Clansman was due to sail last Saturday afternoon with dairy produce and general goods'tor Auckland, but the high wind and conditions at the bar were against the Clansman 'ailing and she remained in port over the weekend. No attempt was made to clear the port on Monday as soundings at the bar showed that there would not be sufficient clearance for the vessel.
