MAGISTRATE'S COURT

INITIAL SESSION FOR THE YEAR MR E. L. WALTON, S.M., ON THE BENCH Mr E. L. Walton, S.M.. was on the Bench for the first sitting of the Magistrate's Court for the new year on Wednesday, when a fairly light calendar was dealt with. Before proceedings began Mr R. F. Smith, on behalf of tlie legal pro Cession, ssid that he regretted to hear of the Magistrate's ill-health and was glad to see him on the Bench once more. He trusted that His "Worship was fully restored to good health. Mr Walton thanked the legal profession for the good wishes. He said that lie had not properly recovered from his illness but expected that his recovery would soon be complete.
