SIR ERNEST DAVIS TO ATTEND INVITATION EXTENDED BY MAYOR Meeting Sir Ernest Davis, Mayor of Auckland, at Tauranga on Thursday, Mr B. S. Barry, Mayor of Whakatanc, extended an invitation to him to attend the local Centennial celebrations to be held in February. Sir Ernest Davis said that he would be pleased to accept the invitation, and suggested that a similar courtesy be accorded the chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board and the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Avho, he felt sure, would attend if asked.
